Nebby's Shop, gold, and items

The official 0.3.4 notes introduced Nebby's Shop. The community shop article, last edited on 7 October 2026, describes Nebby as its owner and its stock as fixed. The cat-location article places a lamp near the mouse hole and shop. These wiki descriptions and the current inventory have not been tested in 0.3.6.

Strange Pill and the mysterious item are different rows. The wiki records 200 Gold for Strange Pill (article last edited 8 August 2026) and 10,001 Gold for MysteryItem (2 September 2026). Those are historical wiki prices, not confirmed 0.3.6 prices.

The wiki's 0.3.4 EA and 0.3.5 reports

The MysteryItem article explicitly describes normal acquisition as impossible in 0.3.4 Early Access: a Nebby cat removes gold above 10,000, one short of the recorded 10,001 price. Its separate 0.3.5 report, dated 2 September 2026, says a near-frame-perfect purchase is cancelled and gold returns to 10,000 without awarding the item. The article marks that report as needing more testing. It is not a confirmed 0.3.6 behavior.

The same wiki article says using the item, if obtained, plays a text scene, returns to the main menu, and leaves the item in the bag. That account is community documentation, not an official supported acquisition route or a 0.3.6 test.

How gold is earned

The Gold wiki article, last edited on 22 July 2026, says defeating Chara awards shop currency except for the Cowgirl scene. Replies in the linked player thread discuss 0.3.5 and report higher payouts with more remaining HP, including healing toward 99 before winning. These are community observations, not an official formula or a route tested in 0.3.6. The older shop article lists Pale and Butcher skins and Backshots and Side BJ scenes; it is not a complete current inventory. More names are on the scenes page.
