Scarlet Lust is a separate game

The main LoveManiac page calls LoveManiac: Scarlet Lust a Shiftfell Chara spin-off. It has its own itch project, its own version numbers, and its own files. Installing 0.3.6 does not install Scarlet Lust.

On 23 October 2026 the spin-off page listed 0.1.43. A search for 0.1.4 is the same series, not a promise that 0.1.4 is current. The page status is "In development," not an Early Access badge.

The official timestamp fields give 22 October 2026 for 0.1.43, 20 October 2026 for the 0.1.42 public release, 20 August 2026 for the 0.1.2 hotfix, and 19 August 2026 for the first public release. These are announcement dates, not inferred dates from relative labels or file-upload dates.

Official changes and player reports

The 0.1.42 announcement lists a Spanish translation, an overworld, battles, menu access to cutscenes, sensitivity and joystick controls, and a smaller app. The 0.1.43 hotfix says Android controls and other bugs should be fixed. These notes do not establish that the game is only one fight, has no saves, or uses the main game's shop mechanics.

Comments visible on 23 October still report unreliable phone controls, a fire-attack softlock, limited scene content, and a separate no-hit animation. Some comments refer to 0.1.42 and others do not name a build, so they are not proof that every issue persists in 0.1.43. A count of one scene is a player report, not a verified content total.

No. It is a spin-off at version 0.1.43. The main game's public build is 0.3.6.
